Dr Lulat is a graduate of the University of Zambia – School of Medicine, with post graduate qualifications from the University of London, UK. His postgraduate interests have been in the fields of immunology and infectious diseases.
He did his post-doctoral studies at the National Institutes of Medical Research, Mill Hill, and London, England and at the Walter Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne, Australia.
Since 1995, he has been actively involved in reproductive tissue & cord blood banking, and is a pioneer of BioArchive® based cord blood banking in Canada.
Since 2006, he has been actively involved in developing CReATe's Peristem™ banking service for Canadian and international families.
